Today, I am praising God for the blessing of having this woman in my life—my younger sister. That’s her on the right, with me and my daughter. Today it’s her birthday!

This woman is beautiful, inside and out. She is independent, she loves fiercely, she feels intensely, and she gets back up again every time life knocks her down. She listens when I need her to and is able to either offer compassion or a no-nonsense attitude depending on what the situation requires. She is tough-skinned but tender-hearted. She loves God and is able to ignite passion for him in others when she is following him with her whole heart. She is friends with my husband and a wonderful aunt-mama to my children (my son used to call her mama when he was a toddler!). She is one of my best friends and I am blessed to have the privilege of calling her my friend and sister.
